Year: 2017

Role: Graphic Designer

Client: Alyssa Steele, Coordinator, New Student Orientation at SUNY Oswego
Overview: The Office of New Student Orientation sought to engage incoming students in ways that excited them to transition to their college experience.  Their current visual system did not appeal to their target freshman audience (ages 18-20), nor stand out to non-traditional students and family members of an older age group.
Objective: My client's vision was to create print documents based in bold, primary colors and clean illustration, rather than the norm of collegiate documents that center around "campus stock photos". She also wanted to incorporate the beauty and impact of the Lake Ontario sunset, a key point of appeal to students interested in this particular university.
